Rev. Heath Hale
Rector

As its founding pastor, Heath moved to Kailua in 2011 to plant CTF. He received his bachelor's degree (Accounting Information Systems) from Virginia Tech (Blacksburg, VA) and Master of Divinity from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary (South Hamilton, MA).  Heath and his wife Kristen have five children: Owen, Elizabeth, William, Jonathan and Theodore.

Rev. Ben Moore
Deacon & Music Leader

Ben began serving the church as a deacon in October of 2012. He and his wife Sara both teach at a local Christian school, and were married at Christ the Foundation in July 2014. Originally from Seattle, Ben received his BA in Humanities from University of Washington and his Masters of Christian Studies from Regent College in Vancouver, Canada. Ben and Sarah have a daughter named Charlotte.

Rev. Mark Brians
Assisting priest

After graduating from Kaiser High School, Mark received both his Bachelors and Masters degrees from Hawaii Pacific University. While in college he met his wife Rachel, they were married at Christ the Foundation in June 2013. He works as a Humanities teacher at a local Christian school. Mark and Rachel have two daughters: Tirzah and Penelope.

Rev. DAVID CHUNG
deacon

David and his wife Valerie are two of the founding members of Christ the Foundation Anglican Church. Born and raised in Hawaii, they have been married for 36 years and have two adult children, Michael and Jessica. David has a bachelor's degree in Psychology from UH, and Val has a bachelors degree in Sociology and Masters degree in Social Work as well as a teaching certificate. David worked for the Bank of Hawaii for over 28 years, and retired in 2013 from being the vice president and senior trust officer of the institutional trust division of the Bank of Hawaii.
